THERE IS SOMETHIN NEWLY EVOLVED(which infact is not new but is in bright light dese days)
called ""THE LANGUAGISM"
There was lot of drama on the first day of the new Maharashtra assembly today when MNS (Maharashtra Navnirman Sena) legislators roughed up S P MLA, Abu Azmi for taking oath of office in Hindi Language. As soon as Abu Azmi started taking oath in Hindi Language, the 13 member strong MNS MLA’s rushed towards Azmi and took away the mike from him. The 13 MLA’s of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena MNS on Monday created havoc in the Maharashtra assembly . Reportedly 4 of the MLA’s whos were responsible have been suspended. MNS legistalors shouted slogans, demanding that Abu should take the oath in Marathi Language only.
Buoyed by the impressive Assembly debut of his party, Raj had recently announced his legislators would ensure that all MLAs took oath in Marathi taking the politics of regional chauvnism straight to the Assembly.
"If any MLA does not take oath in Marathi, the House will see what happens," Raj had threatened. Raj issued a reminder today, asking all 287 MLAs in the House to take oath in Marathi.
though Assembly acted tough and passed a resolution suspending four MNS members from the House for four years within hours after the chaos. The MLAs were also accused of misbehaving with a woman MLA.
now this was the whole actual drama
but seriously what is this goin on and dey call it "FOR THE PRIDE OF MARATHI"
but i remember sumone sayin "The talk of Marathi pride comes when someone stops anyone from taking oath in Marathi if they are doing so" but dat was never d case.
n dere is one follower of MNS n raj thakrey who says" his point is tht u shud respect all cultures, languages and religions to keep india united." and says "abu azmi just wanted an issue and was challenging marathi sentiments. cudnt he read just 4 lines in marathi ???
Ok i agree with his point but Hello! >>you are an indian first and dere r two things i wish to remind you my frn
---first---Hindi is National Language of India
---second---Indian Constitution allows to take Oath in any of the languages defined under constitution including any regional language and above all Hindi is an national and officail language of our country
But point is not that "whether Hindi or Marathi"..the point is actually
--a respect for the nation
--a code of conduct being a representative
--law and order ,,discipline ....
and seriously they have got hell a lot of other things to solve for dere states nly ,,
terrorism,,illiteracy,,poverty,,,floods ,draughts, life of villages ,,,slums ,,,,slowdown,,,,diseases like polio n aids
n list is endless actually
But do they actually care to give evn a single thought to these things a single time? ..do they debate on these things?...do they debate for findin solutions for these things?......do they debate how to fight against terrorism which is not just externaly, its internal evn?
do they care even ever?
No ,what they just care is regions devided by language ....marathi...hindi...southie...punjabii...bihari..n all
what they think about is region and caste n relegion barries ....
India is all scatterd now .......but we read in books a phrase for our land
"UNITY IN DIVERSITY".
They are just destroyin it .they are not protecting nythin no state no language no relegion but dey r just damaging our self unity which was standin tall till today in all diversities but seriously if all dese gonna continue den our unity will loose all its strength n wll rest in voilence ,hate, scaterrism .
and at the end of the day it will be a scattered INDIA
WE NEED TO LOOK UPON WHO IS AT FAULT OR WHO IS TO BE BLAMED
IS IT WE THE GENERAL PEOPLE OR THE SYSTEM
and i feel like they need to be dealt stronly with law so that it will be a msg for all others
and there needs to be QUALIFING CRITERIAS FOR THE PEOPLE WHO FILE FOR ELECTIONS TO REPRESENT WE THe PEOPLE
AND SOMETHING LIKE CODE OF CONDUCT HAS TO BE THERE FOR THEM IN LAW WHICH THEY NEED TO LEARN
""WHAT DO YOU SAY?"

Our constitution clearly states the importance of our national language "hindi' chosen by all after consensus to be the mother language. Here the issue as raised by MNS and supported by shivsena about the oath been taken in "Marathi" not only gives the language and the culture a negative picture but also puts it down in the eyes of the nation.
The ministers were to discuss in the assembly on more serius issues that were related to the development of the nation and of the citizens.. but issues such as these just bring out the reality of our so called ministers and their responsiveness towards society.
Political parties are using such issues to increase their vote bank, but do not realise what harm they are causing to the unity of the nation. they are hampering the minds of the youth and the genrations to come by promoting hatred.
I wish if we could be aware ourselves and appoint representatives who work for our development and not for vote banks.
The linguistic diversity is the uniqueness of our country of which we should be proud of....
we must boycott the intentions and ideas of such leaders and make sure that no one takes advantage of such sensitive issues in order to build a better India for us to live in....
u r very right tanya. But its not everytime we can just blame them only and its not because i m supportin them but it is because we are also at fault at the same time when they or everytime they are..........
first thing as u mentioned also about being aware for the people who actually work for real issues...this is true .....but again this falls back on us as it has to be we people only who have to make these checks for our representatives, no matter on educational background or moral or his work on nythn else.....whatever
but---DO WE REALLY CARE? OR DO WE REALLY CARE FOR THAT?
A big NO ..i guess.......Hardly any of the people gives a thought
and we do have legal rights fr it
and hey before that half of us, i mean we people or our population, don't even care to cast there vote
so hw can we just blame dem only
its only we if they are appointed ,,its only we who missed voting and such crappy bastards are sitting as representatives
so i guess such people are there we are commiting blunders at our end
and allowing them to show there craps........so we need to realise and i guess "REALISATION IS NEED OF THE HOUR"
I agree.. the problem is vested within us.. we don't realize until we face it..personally!!!
As we faced 26/11.. only then we realized what threat we are prone to...until then we stood back and were mere spectators.
Our realization will help us fight back our enemies...internal and external. No one would ever be able to take advantage of us if we are aware.
We must all work at individual level to see the change .. as the phrase goes- "we must be the change we wish to see"
100 percent positive and true
but i wish to add one thing
that 26/11 was not the realisation of the general people or the cattle class as on of our representative called us, ....ha ha pitty na....,but infact it was the there realisation as they were under the knife facin blows that time as a few ministers were there in those hotels and all top enterpreneurs who faced looses who actually rule our ministers ..
true.... but know watever it has taken this ministers to realize that the threat..closely.......
It somewhere assures a fight back...to protect the dignity & provide safety to the elite and cattle class
true and it happened actually
